What is Generic Zoloft?
Generic ZOLOFT (Serta or Zosert) is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used to treat depression, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and a severe form of premenstrual syndrome (premenstrual dysphoric disorder - PMDD). It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor. Generic ZOLOFT works by helping to restore the balance of certain natural chemicals in the brain.
How to Use
Follow the directions for using it provided by your doctor. It is recommended you take your dosage at the same time each day, either in the morning or in the evening. Take this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. CONTINUE TO TAKE Generic ZOLOFT even if you feel better. STORE this medication at room temperature at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted. Do not store in the bathroom. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF Generic ZOLOFT, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take 2 doses at once.
